Piano Trainer
Don't Learn Visually, Learn Aurally
Prerequisities
Prerequisities Personal
Anyone engaged in playing piano can try this learning method, although it is not ideal for total beginners. It doesn't aim at developing basic skills like reading music, playing technique (finger technique, rhythm etc.) but rather at using them for studying existing compositions more effective way than traditionaly from score sheets. So the application can be beneficial for you regardless of the level you are at if you are not a complete newbie.
Optimally, we recommend approximately the first three years of traditional learning using musical notation and building technical foundations. When piano technique is no longer an issue, you can start applying this method to develop your musical memory and deepen other skills.

Piano Trainer is a Windows application, you need a computer running on Windows 10 Operating System or higher. You also need a digital piano with MIDI connection to your computer. If you have a notebook and can lay it on top of your piano in front of you, then you have an ideal setup.
Your computer should have sound switched on, as except of midi communication, the application uses a set of acoustic sounds to signal some situations.
Your digital piano should have a damper/sustain pedal, it is used for communication between the player and the app (of course it is used for playing too :) ).
