each view of the notation is a step backwards because you are playing from notation, not from memory.

Piano Trainer is a teaching software, which helps you to learn individual piano compositions so that you are able to play them from memory.

You can learn pieces that are already prepared in a form of Piano Trainer app data or you can create your own Piano Trainer data file for any piece you want. In such a case you need to scan the scores, load them to the application, then divide the piece into small chunks called fragments, record each fragment using inbuilt sequencer and that is all. Then you can learn and practice.
Learning with Piano Trainer combines visual (notation) and aural (sound) form to reach maximum learning speed and effectivity, as well it analyses everything you play and informs you if you play correct or wrong.
